Tom Miesner who is widely recognized as a pipeline expert. Tom gained this expertise during a twenty five year career with Conoco Pipe Line Company. There he held multiple engineering, operations, joint venture, and business development positions. Tom also held executive positions, serving five years as Vice President and six years as President of the company. While serving as chairman of the Association of Oil Pipelines Tom was instrumental in developing and leading implementation of industry wide initiatives to improve industry performance and public perception. Tom has worked extensively with FERC in areas of liquid pipeline rate matters, served on the faculty of Northwestern University's Transportation Institute, and presented on a variety of topics at industry conferences. Tom personally provides many of PkD's services and teaches most of the classes.

He is very active giving seminars, workshops and speaking on the reserves theme around the world.
Bill is a Principal Consultant with KBC with over 32 years experience within the refining and petrochemical industries; 24 years have been in manufacturing operations. He has significant experience in Executive Management as well as management of: Business Strategy, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Engineering, Tech Support, Human Resources, Administration, Business Development, Planning and Economics, and Commercial Activities & Markets. Bill has international expertise in refining, petrochemicals and manufacturing related issues.

He had been directly involved in over $5 billion acquisition and divestitures as well as the management of significant projects and business units.
